Hello!! It's Shiry and I have a confession!! I absolutely love u-part units! They are the go to style if you don't want to to be committed to a lace closure or lace frontal. My units are made on a breathable cap. The unit can be removed or sewn down.
For some women who may experience thinning this is not an option for you. The wefts have to be covered with your hair that is left out. Depending on the amount of thinness you have, you can get away with using hair fibers, which can be purchased at Sally's beauty supply. The hair fibers camouflage the area. I use it from time to time, but I try and not wear parts so often because the hair has to stay moisturized and blended well with commercial hair.
When wearing a u part unit make sure you change the parting because continuous wearing on one side can cause heat damage and we don't want that. In order to have a unit like that the unit cannot really be cut.
